Ideas has a range of high quality hand painted furniture.
The one-off pieces are based on selected items of solid
wood i.e. mahogany, oak and pine etc. These are then stripped
of previous finishes, cleaned, prepared and primed before
having a new finish applied. Antique and distressed effects
are then carried out before finally being protected with
satin varnish or wax. Each piece is highly individual and
classic in style.
The
French Antique style furniture is painted to give a high
quality antique cream finish and waxed. The quality is outstanding
and prices are very competitive.
Our
stock is always changing and new pieces being produced so

We
will also hand paint items to commission on customer's own
furniture. So whether you require a small table, wardrobes,

These three items of furniture were painted to commission.
Originally they were in Mahogany and although the
client liked the style of the furniture, wanted a
fresh and a more up-to-date look. The furniture
was finished in cream and a flower stencil applied
with new handles.
So, no matter
what your furniture is made of it can be given a nice
fresh and a more up-to-date look.
